  • If you plan to attend Project Prom this March you must sign up.  The sheet is located on the high school office window.  You will not be allowed to attend the festivities if you do not sign up.  Deadline is February 28th.
  •  Seniors: College Connections will be in Mrs. Hyke's room Wednesday, February 21 during 8th hour. The topic this month is Communication in College. Ms. Hankins will all also review scholarships on Google Classroom during this time. 
  • Columbia College offers six summer camps with experiences designed for third graders through 2018 high school graduates. Campers will learn from Columbia College faculty, meet current students and get hands-on experience doing what they love! Girls Who Game Summer Camp

  •  ACT preparation workshop will be presented by Focus on Learning Wednesday, March 21, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at OHS.  The cost to each participant will be $20 which will include workshop materials and lunch.  Students will participate in two sessions, one focusing on math and science testing, and the other focusing on English and reading strategies. All OHS juniors will participate at no cost, in order to prepare for the April 3 ACT administration at school. Other students who wish to register for this workshop, can see Ms. Hankins to sign up by Friday, February 23. 
  •  Seniors:  Josten’s will be here on Friday, March 9th, at 2:00 to deliver Senior Graduation items.

**Juniors & Seniors - Columbia College is having a Nursing Pulse event on March 13 for interested students to learn how you can achieve your nursing career goals!

Program options include:

·  In-class associate and bachelor's programs for those looking to become registered nurses 

·  Online RN to BSN program for working nurses looking to obtain a bachelor's degree in nursing

 **Rep from Crowder College in Nevada will be available in the commons during advisory and first lunch shift March 2. 

 **OTC rep will be available in the commons during advisory and first lunch shift on Thursday, March 1 for interested students. Seniors planning to attend OTC should plan to check in with her.

  •  There will be a meeting at Wednesday at 7:50 AM for all High School and Junior High girls basketball players in the library. This is about our fundraiser coming up so you MUST ATTEND!

  • Group picture day is **WEDNESDAY, February, 14th**.  This will include JH & HS Basketball teams.  HS flyers are with your coach.  JH Flyers were handed out 8th hour on Thursday.  Make sure to bring your order flyer and money to school on picture day.
  •  The Osceola Indians are hosting a “Cancer” game to help raise awareness for childhood cancer.  All proceeds will go to a local child who is currently battling cancer.  Order forms are located on the high school office window and are due by 2-9-18.

  •  Attention students scheduled to take the ACT tomorrow at Weaubleau: As of now they plan to test. If that changes they will cancel by 7 am. It will be posted on their school's Facebook page and ACT cancellation policies will be followed.

  • Project Prom will be having a Chili Supper on Friday, February 2nd.  Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Junior for $5.00.  The price will be $6.00 at the gate the night of event.  There will also be a silent auction.
  •  NHS Members please sign up to work the Crush and a Kiss table - sign up is now posted outside Ms. B's room!!!

  • Seniors: Please check your school email for an invitation from Ms. Hankins in order to access scholarships on Google Classroom.

  • Reminder for Volleyball players: the deadline to commit for the Nebraska Summer Camp is this Friday, Feb 2. Turn in forms and money to Coach Janke!

  •  Juniors: Planning & Paying for College Workshop will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday in the OHS library for you and your parents. 
  •  Breakfast will NOT be served after the 8:15 a.m. bell rings without special permission from a teacher or coach.
