**There will be a student council meeting tomorrow morning at 7:20 in the library.

 **If you have a photo of a family member who has served in the military and would like for that photo to be a part of the slideshow for the Veterans' assembly, or a wall of heroes, please see Kaelyn Quessenberry for the form to submit your photos.

 **Mrs. Carney will not have tutoring today.  This week it will be Wednesday and Thursday until 4:45.

 **FBLA meeting for ALL members will be Friday morning at 7:15am October 30, 2020 in Ms. Frost room.  Come prepared to sign up for contest teams.  If you want more information about the contest teams see Ms. Frost before Friday.

**Come out and support the homecoming Queen and Princess candidates this Friday night.  We will have the Royalty portion of homecoming this Friday night starting at 8pm with a dance on the football field for the students following the conclusion of the crowning.  Masks will be required at the dance when social distancing is not possible.

 **The JV volleyball tournament this Saturday will require masks for all spectators.

**TOMORROW IS TASTING DAY DURING BOTH LUNCHES.  If you want to participate, bring a $1.  You will get a plate, go around and taste the foods.  At the end you will vote on your favorite and the winning table will get the $$  -- all in good fun and for a good cause.  GO CHIEFS!

 **Ranken Technical College invites all interested High School Seniors to join in a Rat Rod car-building competition at our St. Louis campus April 6-10! Participating Seniors will learn to build an infamous Rat Rod in only one week – and no prior experience is needed!  **Teachers- I will be practicing with the 8th grade students starting at about 9:00am tomorrow and not able to help organize kickball or if necessary organize other options.  Think about what you will do if we can't go outside for kickball.  Movies you could bring or games you could bring.  Please prepare something.  This morning there was about a 50% chance of rain/lightning during kickball time.  You will likely have between 6-15 students depending on how many show up.  Mr. Simpson will have Boy Scout bratwurst for the teachers.

 **Spring Mobile Job Center will be available on Thursday, May 24th, 9:00 am until noon.  Can’t make that day they will be available on June 24th and July 26th same times at Osceola City Hall.  Come ask about On-The-Job training and training scholarships and learn about access Missouri Job Center career services.

 **Any High School student wanting to meet the A plus requirement for tutoring this summer during summer school should sign up in Mr. Schubert's office.  Summer school tutoring is the best way to meet the tutoring requirement for summer school.

 **There has been a slight change to the elections Friday for student council.  All the core officers are running unopposed, so we will not to have elections or need to meet as a school during advisory.  However, during advisory Friday we do need to have each individual class(not 7th graders) elect representatives.  One boy and one girl from each class.  During Friday advisory rising Freshman in Mrs Ross's room, Rising sophomores in Mrs. Branstetter's room, Rising Juniors in the library and Rising Seniors in Mr. Smith's room.

 **The spring music concert is tonight at 7:00 p.m. for JH and HS choir and band. Choir students please arrive no later than 6:45, report to the gym to get seated.

 **There will be a Junior High Football Meeting for 6th and 7th graders in Mr. Carney's room in the elementary Friday Morning at 8:00am.
